| FOCUSED HARMONIC CONVERGENCE PLANNED FOR AUGUST 11, 2012. |
In 1987 Jose Arguelles inspired and coordinated more than one million people to gather to initiate the final 25 year cycle before the end of the Mayan Calendar on December 21, 2012. With the help of Jose and many other organizations including PLANETCHANGE2012.COM, THE FOUNDATION FOR CONSCIOUS EVOLUTION,PLANETCHANGE.TV, WORLDSHIFT2012.COM, CLUB OF BUDAPEST, GALATIC RESEARCH INSTITUTE/FOUNDATION FOR THE LAW OF TIME (www.lawoftime.org www.noosphereforum.org), THE SPIRITUAL CENTER OF AMERICA, SEDONAMEDIATION.COM, WWW.12THEBOOK.COM and many additional organizations dedicated to planetary harmony, the purpose is to create a harmonic convergence of at least twelve million people to take place on August 11, 2012.
THE GOAL OF THIS FOCUSED HARMONIC CONVERGENCE IS TO HAVE A MINIMUM OF ONE MILLION GROUPS OF TWELVE OR THIRTEEN PEOPLE MEET AT A MINIMUM OF ONE MILLION UNIQUE SITES THROUGHOUT THE WORLD TO CONTEMPLATE HOW EACH INDIVIDUAL AND EACH GROUP AS A GROUP CAN CONTRIBUTE TO THE TRANSFORMATION OF INDIVIDUAL, GROUP, AND GLOBAL CONSCIOUSNESS AT THIS TIME. Each individual is encouraged to focus on the immediate opportunities in their personal life. Groups are encouraged to meditate or just observe nature or partake in whatever practices and rituals which are part of their current spiritual or religious traditions.
Many scientists believe that focused energy and thought can create change in the material world. This focused harmonic convergence accepts this as a possibility and encourages each participant to focus on being the most joyful and complete human being they can be in harmony with all of nature and humanity as a whole. The choice of location is entirely up to the individual participants. Some may choose sacred sites such as Stonehenge or Machu Picchu. Some may choose places of beauty and grandeur such as the Grand Canyon, Big Sur or Lake Titicaca.. Others may select places of historical importance where battles were fought or places of current political power such as the white house or symbols of past leaders such as the Lincoln Memorial. What matters is the energy and meaning of the site for those who choose to be there on August 11, 2012. All sites are appropriate whether it be a local little league field or a Starbucks or Wal-mart. Any location where an individual has strong feelings of connection or has experienced great emotion, whether joy or sadness, can be appropriate.
It is recommended that each group spend a minimum of one hour as a group at each site and if moved individuals can share their individual and group visions of a better future for themselves and planet earth. For those who prefer not to share or discuss that is fine as well though it is likely that their intentions will have greater probability of being realized if they also write down and preserve the feelings and goals that arise within them.
We hope that groups that enjoy the experience on August 11th will continue to meet weekly or daily until December 12, 2012, and develop concrete action plans which they can implement in their communities. We recommend that everyone spend one minute each morning or evening contemplating some aspect of a better future up until December 21, 2012.
On December 21, 2012 itself as many groups as possible are encouraged to reconvene at the original locations they have chosen for the express purpose of celebrating the transformation of consciousness and the change in the world cycle that December 21, 2012 represents. We can assure you that the world will not end on December 21, 2012. December 21, 2012 however, is the end of a long cycle of 26,000 years and the beginning of a new cycle. This new cycle contains the possibility of a level of harmony and joy that no living being on this planet has ever before experienced. Please celebrate in whatever way most pleases you on December 21, 2012 your participation in the great transformation in which you have played a major role whether you realize it or not.
For those wondering why August 11,2012 was chosen the reason is that August 11,3114 BC is the start date for the final cycle of the 5125 years 132 day Mayan calendar which has governed all known human history. For the Mayan August 11,2012 represents the day of the Planetary Eagle… the power of planetary vision. Let us soar.

PS for those who want to start organizing events for August 11,2010 and August 11,2011 please contact any of the participating organizations. Since we are anticipating at least twelve million participants on August 11,2012 it will be helpful to have somewhat smaller “dress rehearsals†of a million or more.This is really a grass roots movement so anyone can organize their own group based on the information in this posting. For those who want an example of what is being suggested the later chapters in the novel THE TWELVE provide a possible model. |
